  1. I’m a wrapper too, but I like artificial trees. Pine gives me headaches AND I can put it up a little before Thanksgiving! 🙂

I usually take it down several weeks after Christmas–definitely by MLK Day.

I’ve not had that much eggnog in my life to say yes or no (although I have to say I’m never heard of boiled custard, and I’m from the south.)

My favorite childhood gift was probably the Barbie Heart family. I loved Barbie growing up!

I actually have two nativity scenes. One was bought it Mexico when my Aunt took me as a child.

Dad is TOTALLY hard to shop for! My Mom and brother are usually pretty easy. Also I never seem to have a problem getting something for Charity.

I’m going to try and get my newsletter done this weekend.

I think the worse gift I ever got were floral scented candles from my freshman year roommate. 1.) Candles were banned from the dorms and she knew I wouldn’t burn them. 2.) I’m allergic to floral smells. It was kinda proof to me that she didn’t really have any interest in me as a friend.

So many movies to choose from, but I have to say It’s a Wonderful Life. But I love so many movies–especially Christmas–it is a close call. I LOVE love actually too!

My shopping starts before Thanksgiving. But now that I have a good job, maybe I can plan a little sooner next year.

Yes, I do recycle gifts. I don’t find this to be a big deal.

I love my mom’s peanut butter and chocolate pie! Yum!

WHITE LIGHTS look so beautiful. I grew up with colored lights, and they are fine from home, but not on my tree.

My favorite song this year is This Christmas. It changes from year to year. 🙂

I travel home home for Christmas. Yes, I know all the reindeer names. I put an angel on the top of my tree.

Our family opens family gifts on Christmas Eve, and then open Santa gifts on Christmas Day morning.

The most annoying this is how fast is passes by.

I love all themes and stuff. I’m a designer!!! What can I say!

    I like Turkey.

As for what I want for Christmas… Well… I’ve got quite a bit. And I know I’ll be spoiled cause I’m the only child home. I guess I want friends to come to Dallas for New Years. 🙂

  2. Hello friend
I have been missing you, even though I am not much online right now. Thought I would pop by and say hi – and Merry Christmas. Hope it is free of strife on any level and blessed in every way.

    xxx

  3. I loved reading this! I have been missing your posts, and you!

I got a life-sized doll one year too. I think I as 7. I adored that thing and loved her until her leg fell off. My mom sewed it back on and I kept right on loving her!

Hope the holiday time is going well for you!

    *hugs*

  4. Hey hon – Happy New Year to you! I enjoyed this post and thought that list was a great idea. I don’t much cotton to resolutions, either – I’m on board with goals, though.

    Have a good one!
